To have a kitchen knife sharp at all times there are number of requirements when it comes to designing the optimal knife sharpener. Luckily this one from the Atlas range makes sure it covers all of these. It contains two options for sharpening knives: 1 – rollers with zirconium dioxide coating for fine-tuning the blade to polish it for a softer and smoother cut, 2 - tungsten carbide coated rollers for rough sharpening of the blade, which helps to repair the damaged blade, including smoothing chips and bumps on its surface.
Of course, all knives, blunt and sharp present a danger if handled incorrectly. When sharpening a knife, it becomes even more important to ensure that you are operating in the safest possible way. To help you in this we have designed this knife sharpener with its own rubber non-slip base with PVC suction to prevent it slipping. So you can remain relaxed and in control and sharpen your knives with complete ease.
