Ceramic-Coated Cookware User Guide

How to Use

  • Before first use, wash the cookware in hot soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely.
  • For best results, cook on low to medium heat. High heat may cause food to burn or stick.
  • To reduce sticking, preheat the cookware over low heat for 1–2 minutes before cooking.
  • Use a burner that matches the size of the cookware for optimal performance.
  • When using a gas stove, ensure the flame does not extend up the sides of the cookware.
  • Add an appropriate amount of oil as needed.
  • Never leave cookware unattended while cooking, as this may cause permanent damage to both the cookware and the cooktop.
  • Use a ventilation hood or open a window during cooking.
  • Do not cut food directly inside the cookware.
  • Always use oven mitts or heat-resistant gloves when handling hot cookware.

Maintaining Non-Stick Performance

  • Never heat empty cookware, as this may damage the ceramic coating.
  • Always avoid heating the cookware without oil or food inside.
  • Preheat briefly on low to medium heat, then add oil. Avoid prolonged overheating.
  • Over time, the non-stick performance of ceramic coatings will naturally decrease. This process may accelerate with frequent exposure to high temperatures.
  • The ceramic coating can withstand brief accidental overheating up to 450°C (842°F) without releasing toxic fumes and will not peel or flake.
  • If non-stick performance decreases, simply use a slightly larger amount of oil during cooking.

Cooking Tips

  • Always start cooking with clean cookware.
  • Allow food to reach room temperature before cooking.
  • Preheat the pan briefly before adding oil or butter.
  • Use oils suitable for cooking, such as vegetable oil, olive oil, sunflower oil, or butter—preferably those with a high smoke point.
  • Food-grade cooking sprays may be used (e.g., olive, coconut, sunflower, canola, avocado, or flavored oils).
  • Do not use sprays that are not intended for food use, such as cosmetic or medical oils, or sprays containing propellants that are not safe for heating.
  • Do not overheat oil until it begins to smoke or burn.

Using Utensils

  • Use nylon, silicone, or wooden utensils to extend the life of your cookware.
  • Avoid using sharp or metal utensils such as knives or forks.

Do Not:

  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they may scratch and dull the surface.
  • Do not use metal scouring pads or harsh cleaning agents containing ammonia or chlorine.
  • Do not leave empty cookware on a hot burner or flame.
  • Do not overheat empty cookware.
  • Keep both cookware and cooktop free from burnt-on residue to prevent scratches.

Care and Maintenance

  • Allow cookware to cool before cleaning after each use.
  • If scratches appear, switch to a softer sponge and gentle detergent.
  • After cooking, remove food and add a small amount of water to prevent residue from sticking.
  • To remove burnt-on food:
    • Add warm soapy water
    • Bring to a boil for 5–10 minutes
    • Clean with a soft sponge
  • Wash using warm water and a soft sponge or cloth.
  • Thorough washing, rinsing, and drying helps preserve non-stick performance.
  • Always dry cookware completely to prevent water spots.
  • Do not use oven cleaners, metal scrubbers, or chlorine-based products.

Notes:

  • Brown, blue, or rainbow discoloration may appear—this is normal and can be removed with lemon juice or a citric acid solution.
  • Buildup from burnt oil and grease may occur with prolonged high heat. This can reduce non-stick performance. To remove buildup:
    • Add warm water
    • Bring to a boil
    • Clean with a sponge and detergent
  • Dishwasher use may reduce the lifespan of the ceramic coating due to strong detergents.
  • Hand washing is recommended to extend the life of the coating, although dishwasher use is permitted (except for cookware with wooden handles).
  • Exposed aluminum rims or rivets may discolor in the dishwasher—this does not affect performance.
  • Use protective packaging or separators during storage and transport.
  • Store cookware in a dry, cool place.
